Here is a wonderful version of "I"ll be Seeing You." This piece is quite relaxing and beautiful to listen too as well. I like watching the pianist hands play the piece as I am listening to the music. He does play it like Liberace who is one of my favorite pianist. I would have love to see him perform live but never got the chance. He was definitely Mr. Showman and was one talented guy.

For those of us who like listening to hymns, here is a great arrangement of "Abide with Me" by Jan Mulder. The piece starts and ends very simply. I like the way he just takes the hymn and adds so much more to it. You will hear him built the piece with intensity with the flowing music. He is performing this hymn live as you will see in the video. I like to arrangement hymn like this as well. You can just take a hymn and put a new twist on the piece without changing the greatness of the hymn. A hymn is a very basic piece of music and can be or is very touching when you one know the words to the music like this piece "Abide with Me". So enjoy this arrangement like I do.

Here is the classic piece "God Bless America" sung by Kate Smith during World War II. This video is from a movie. I grew listening to this piece and can remember her singing it on a TV show. I love Patriotic song like this. I can feel the spirit of the music and proud to be an American. I feel very bless to be born here and live here. I do not come from a rich family but knowing the freedom we have here is fantastic. Just the last few days had reminded me about our great country we live in even though we have our own problems. Hearing "God Bless American", "The National Anthem", or "God Bless the USA" are very inspiring to us Americans. Give us a feeling of patriotism.

After watching the 25th anniversary show on TV tonight, I just had to post some video of it. This is my favorite musical play of all time. Nick Jonas does an amazing job in his performance of this piece at the 25th anniversary in England. He puts his own style in the piece just a little bit but definitely stays and shows the emotions of the song. I have also posted the video of Michael Ball Singing the same piece at the 10th anniversary. He voice is much deeper than Nicks. I like both singers. I was very surprised at the fantastic job Nick did in this performance.

This guy sings and plays. He has a wonderful voice. The accompaniment is not the most difficult since he is carrying the melody. Just thinking about the amazing music that I have posted here on my blog over the last few months and how many different styles of music there are. They are so many amazing musicians who can make the simplest songs sounds wonderful. Many of these musicians are quiet young and several of them play a lot better than I do. I must always of have kind of music in front of me.
I seek out songs that touch me the most which helps me to improve on my talent. I am not the best pianist at all. It takes lots of practice and time. But for me this practice time is quite relaxing for me. I must admit that sometimes some sections of a piece are frustrating to learn but that is part of the challenge for me.

Just like any other musicians, I like to do a little improv with songs and just play them in my own style for fun. But sometimes a new twist of a song just sounds great. Just like the song by Dolly Parton “I Will Always Love You." There are so many different versions. Each version has its own style and uniqueness.

Amazing Grace

Amazing Grace is one of my favorite hymns. It is very beautiful and simple. Here this pianist play the piece soft and sweet. As you will see him play, you will notice he plays the piano quietly. As I search for piano music for my blog and website, I find it very interesting of all the different styles of piano music there are. Every pianist definitely have there own style. I like it especially when you see it come out in their music. I am finding many wonderful pianist who like to play as a hobby. For me playing the piano is relaxing to me.

I got the blog start because of my website easypianomusic.net. I have become much more interested seeking out other piano music for the site. I have had many people want to have the music from some of my blogs so I always have a link to the website. I have tired to make the website easy and friendly to use. Even though there is other music for other musical instruments, the main focus is on piano music from easy to more difficult.

Jon Schmidt is just Awesome in this live concert video. Just watch how intense he gets as he plays his music. He is very into it as well as the audience is. There is just so much excitement when he plays in the piano. You can just feel the spirit and the beauty of the music. He does have a friend, Jason Lyle Black, who like to do a parody of his "Waterfall" piece which is excellent. I posted that video in a previous post. This piece seems to build with intensity which makes the music quite exciting to listening. After listening to it several times I decide to post it here of my blog. Very talented Pianist for sure. The music is very relaxing and near the end of the piece there are beautiful pictures that can help you reflect of the beauty of the earth. Here is Josh Groban singing at The Greek Theater in 2008. This is such at beautiful piece. The musician who accompany him are wonderful. You can hear to piano, guitar, and violin. Each instrument goes so well together his Josh Groban's voice. Even though the piece seems quite simple, everything just goes together perfectly. Anything that Josh touch is beautiful. But I do believe that the musicians would be just as great individually. The pianist has just the perfectly touch on his piano. Hope you like this piece as much as I do.

I know that we have had some presidents who are musicians. Here is two of them to start. Here is Harry S Truman playing the piano with pianist Eugene List watching. You may never know that you might create or arrange the music differently. This can be very entertaining for yourself as well as others. I love to hear music performed in different ways and styles. Sorry I have not posted in a few weeks. Crazy busy life I guess. But I have been thinking about music and how relaxing for me it is. Playing the piano and organ is very relaxing to me and helps relieve stress too. GREAT STRESS RELIEF for SURE! Just other day I was playing a very simple piece of music and adding to it just a little bit. It sounded great but still very simple to play. Sometimes, the simplest piece can be the most beautiful and nice to listen too.

Learn to Play the Keyboard

There is nothing more fun then play the keyboard for yourself. You will have fun doing it and you are never too old or too young to learn. You just need to start. I started playing the piano when I was 11 years and the organ when I was 14. Over the years I have gotten better with practice over the years. Why Do You Play the Piano?

Why do I play the piano? I play for fun and enjoyment and I like to be creative and arrangement music for fun. When was the last time you were creative with music? Just like some of these people here in the videos here, you can be just as creative and had fun with music. Just take the tune of any music you like and start hitting some notes of the piano. Sometimes it will sound just terrible but other times it will sound great. But remember what you played so you can play it again. I will create something but will not be able to play it the same way. Just Having FUN at the Piano

You know you can take any type and music and have fun with it. As we have seen on previous post, people taking a piece of music they like and changing it around and enjoying. I like to do that a lot. Just seeing when I go with the piece. Sometimes, I must admit it just sounds so bad. But usually it sound so wonderful but I always cannot remember what I played. So now I play a part of it and then repeat it several times and move on to the next section. This only took me many years to figure out. But practice, practice, practice and having fun has made the difference for me in the long run. Any time I can just sit down at the piano or organ and just play and have fun is the best time ever and so relaxing. So you must try it sometime if you have never done it before and just go with the flow.

Victor Borge is one of the funniest pianist ever. Besides being one of the greatest pianist of all time, he has the most fun playing the piano and entertaining other with his talent. This is one of the best and wildest videos I have seen. These pianist are awesome and very talented. I have so much fun watching it that I watched a several times. Seeing the duet with the dancers dancing to the music. Some the music I can remember hearing on a Bugs Bunny cartoon growing up. They just put so much life into the music. Share Your Piano Playing Fun

Nothing is more fun than to share your piano playing fun with others. Have you ever just sat back and watched your own body language when you play. I have and did not realize how funny I look sometimes, especially when I am really into the music. Some people get so into the music that they that their body language is all over the play. I wonder how some pianist are even able to hit the right notes. I know I like being silly playing fun songs like "The Clown" because it sounds just like a bunch of clown goofing around. I will post me playing this song in the near future on my old sounding piano. If you have or find any fun piano or music pieces posted them so that we can all see and enjoy.

Found this one while searching for something else. This guy is awesome. He performs the blues in his own style. What a great arrangement and he is really into the music which you can see in his body language. Anyone who can create music like this, loves playing the piano. After watching him a few times gets my creative juices rolling.

Very creative "Heart and Soul" Piece

Found this piece on Youtube. This arrangement of "Heart and Soul" is wonderful with many added notes in the top part of the duet. This creative arrangement helps you to think of other piece that you arrangement and make unique to your own style. Duet are always fun to play and arrange.

Finding Music

Finding the right music to play on the piano can be challenging at times. Just finding the best arrangement will add to the challenge as well. Being able to understand your level capabilities will help you find the sheet music and start to have fun.

There are many sites on the web for piano music where you can purchase sheet music and can download instantly and print. Most sites allow you to purchase music books and receive them in a few days. Look for site that are simple to read and understand the products. Many have already done the research in the style of music you may be looking for like "http://easypianomusic.net".

Once you find the music you like, buy it and just have fun learning and playing the music. This is one of my favorite books of music. Always start off simple. For those of you who are more advanced, you can always add more to the pieces and make your own personal arrangements.

Nothing is more fun then to just sit at my piano and play whatever I want. This is very relaxing and fun. I am the most creative at these moments and wish that I could always remember what I have created or arranged different. But the most important thing for me is that I am relaxing and having fun.

When I get a little crazy, my 17 yr old daughter likes to come in and ask "What are you playing" because it sounds a little of beat. But that is the fun about being creative and finding new ways of playing a piece of piano music. Just by changing the tempo creates excited for me. Some times I will be playing hymns and jazzing them up the I forget that I must play them correctly in a church meeting. Jazzing up and changing a hymn is a lot of fun. Nice to have fun beat with those.

Now I am so ready to go and have some fun playing on my piano. I like to get loud too sometime which drives my wife a little nuts. But I think she used to it after almost 25 years of marriage.
